About

My brother (Burke) and I grew up in McGrath, Alaska, a population ~500 (now 350) village on the Kuskokwim River (no road access). We were surrounded by Alaska’s raw wilderness, observing (step-dad) Francis’ exploration and our mother’s reverence for the natural world.

We are a good pair of brothers, same height and build, opposite passions. Burke’s creativity has landed him in Brooklyn where he is surrounded by an incredible community of artists. My science interests put me in orbit for 10 years, but Alaska never wavered as my sun.

I live in Anchorage and play outside as often as possible. Like my brother’s community of artists, I lean on an incredible group of friends and recreation partners. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
